Shockwave is triple-changer redeco of Voyager Whirl, and his weapons are made of clear purple plastic instead of the original black. Besides his vehicle mode and robot mode, he has a third alternate mode. He comes with a pair of mechanical pincers that can be combined with his "Astro Magnum" weapon and all four of his "Blast Arms" weapons can be attached to various sculpted rods.

The logical Shockwave is cold and emotionless. Unlike his fellow Decepticons who have selfish goals and ambitions, Shockwave seeks only the most logical and efficient way to continue his existence for all eternity.
